The first and last line of defense against viruses,
Virus Buster Mask
The antiviral technology applied to the Virus Buster Mask inactivates up to 99.99% virus and blocks small (0.3 micro) particles.
CAZ is a copper ion bonded natural polymer fiber developed and produced by MediFiber, and is the fiber material that has a strong ionic bonding with copper up to 50,000 ppm.
MediFiber is a medical device company that specializes in medical equipment made from natural polymer fiber.
Virus Buster Mask Layer
– Antiviral layer : Copper ions bonded fiber (CAZ) layer – Inactivating and destroying pathogens and viruses. No infectious viruses will remain on the mask’s surface.
– Filter layer : Virus protection layer (Membrane Filter) – Blocks 80% of very small (0.3 micron) particles.
– Support layer
– Skincare layer : Soft materials to improve comfort. Water resistant.
The world's first COVID-19 virus (SARS-CoV-2) inactivation test
on mask fabric
– Colorado State University’s Department of Microbiology, Immunology & Pathology (USA) tested (according to ISO18184 Protocol) CAZ and found SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19 virus) was 99.57% inactivated after 10 min., and 99.999% after 30 min. (2020.8)
– Nara Medical University’s Department of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (Japan) tested (according to ISO18184 Protocol) CAZ effective to SARS-CoV-2 after 5 min. contact (99.642% inactivation, 99.996% after 30 min.). (2020.9)
– The Korea Test & Research Institute (KTR, the only national virus testing institute in Korea) conducted an antiviral test of CAZ and found the pathogenic Human influenza A (H1N1) virus was 99.9% inactivated within 5 minutes (minimum test time) (2020.3.30)
– SELS research institute (Jeonbuk National University) conducted an antiviral test of CAZ and yielded that the MS-2 bacteriophage virus inactivated 99.8% in 1 minute (minimum test time), 99.95% in 5 minutes, and 99.999% in 10 minutes (2020.3 .14)
